3 Reasons I won't buy a Wii U:
1. Not powerful enough. Too weak, a current gen console is not what I want. I already own a PS3/360.
2. No unified online service.
3. Not a mulimedia player. Blu-Ray should be STANDARD on any TRUE next-gen system. I want to stream my media from my PC, I want to watch HD movies.
This is a far cry from Driver 2...
Wii and Wii U are incredibly stupid names for a console. Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves.
What happened to the Revolution?
I think the biggest thing developers should fococ on next gen is story.
More games that have story, is incredibly weak and rather generic.

With the PS4 i'd like a 360-like pad with offset analogue sticks and upcurving triggers.
With the 360 I'd like a blu-ray drive.

Bill Gates REALLY wanted the orignal xbox to run windows but it just wasn't possible at the time.
Now, with him gone and that clown running things, I its no wonder why the Xbox has turned into a Wii HD.
Why can't they make driver good like it was back on the PS1/2?
Since the NES Nintendo has had a reputation for excellence in hardware design.
NO MORE.
Who could have seen the trouble Nintendo are in 1 year ago when the Wii was dominating.
Now, the Wii is declining, the 3DS isn't selling, the shareholders are running, the Wii U is worrying, and the new hardware faults are troubling...
RAGE .... Meh.

Yeah, its time to move on.
For those happy with their 6 year old hardware, great, Sony and M$ will still support you for a ferw years by letting you play some third party games...
But as for the rest of us, please god, let us move on!
The PC is literally a whole generation ahead of the PS3/360 now and Wii U looks like its going to be another current gen system.

Without their handheld to fall back on, what will save the Wii U from becoming the next Dreamcast as the Gamecube would have been without the Gameboy...

I suspect that the Wii U will fail to hook in the casuals as well.
That new untapped market of moms, old people, babies etc... is disappearing faster than Nintendo's stock prices.
What did they expect?
They got lucky with the Wii. Those people were ready for a game console gimmick that was cheap. They've all moved on now to the next gimmick - which isn't gaming related.
Xbox is destroying PS3 in America!
If Sony cut price, Micrsooft will cut price. Xbox will ALWAYS be cheaper than Playstation. Thats why Sony haven't cut. They can't. It wouldn't get them anywhere good if they did. They would just make more of a loss.
